For those who track sodium

I'd love to hear any stories from people who have lowered their sodium and the results. I'm wondering if this is why I've had trouble losing more linearly. Thanks!

I watch my sodium. I try to stay around 1500mg a day. When I lost 40 pounds a little over a year ago with MFP I learned very quickly that sodium plays a HUGE part on my weight loss. When I wasn't keeping it under 2000mg I would carry water weight and my weight loss would stall. It would always take me at least 2 days of lower sodium eating in order to get rid of the water weight.
Now that I've restarted MFP in january and kept my sodium at 1500mg I haven't had any problems with sodium and am continuously losing weight. I also drink a lot of water too, that helps flush out the sodium! :drinker:0
