I am so happy and satisfied with everything in my life, that I would not go back out of fear that I might change something that would make me less of who I am today.

I'd probably fix one thing that would screw everything else up....

The day my only brother sent me a letter telling me that unless I went to a church acceptable to him I wasn`t allowed in his house or any other part of his life.
Instead of grabbing him by the throat I gave him his wish for 20 years with many detrimental consequences as life eventually went on.
    OUCH!
I'd have agreed but then plotted and burned down the church late one Sat night, then act all surprised the next day...
    .
"Well, how'd this happen? Guess we can't go this Sunday...Tennis anyone?"

Sept 24th 2008 and Oct 16th 2010 I was sitting in the ICU at sick kids hospital with my daughter, both times for surgery. WORST days of my life!

Thank you all for sharing these days. I have a few like you all, I would like to spend a day with my Mum, who I lost to cancer, I would like to relive the birth of my three children as they were all very precious and I would like to relive my wonderful Wedding day.

But there is one day that would change my life, and it would be the day I suggested to my Dad that we go visit a house that was for sale near me, as a result of things that happened that day, my family has been ripped apart. I would love to go back and change that.

There are so many happy days. March 15, 2005--in Key West, sitting on a dock all alone late at night. I dared to tell my now husband I loved him. I said it first, voice catching in my throat. We've never looked back. We've been married almost five years, and our son turns four at the end of the month.

This pass Saturday. I have never had so much joy being with my parents, celebrating their 25th year anniversary. Just seeing their faces and love makes me want to have a successful marriage and raise a great family one day in the future.

the day my little brother burned his legs and ruined them for life. I would have stopped him from getting into that tub of boiling water even though that would mean that he wasn't there in the hospital with me when I came out of my coma. He deserves a better life.

The day I spoke to my dad for the last time. If I'd had any idea that when I saw him the next day, he'd be on life support, I would have made sure he knew how damn lucky I felt to have him for a father.

I would have a few too, probably I would have to go back to being 11, and I'd have found something other than the internet to occupy my time, it resulted in being groomed by a paedophile who raped me 4 years later, from then on things went further downhill.

July 4th before my senior year in HS. Spent almost the whole day with my best friend. We've fallen apart since then, and I miss her.

    If I HAD to pick...

I'd go back to ( July? August? September? ) when my daughter was in the hospital at six months old for failure to thrive. The doctor walked in and told me that he didn't think I was putting in enough effort to feed her.

Instead of crying, I would get mad, and punch that self righteous *kitten* in the face.

I don't think that would have saved her from having another 6 months of constant pain before they found her heart defect, but BOY would it make me feel better.
  • My first day in Hawaii...but the second time around, I would make sure NOT to step on a poisonous sea urchin!
