Hi all,
I have been consistently over my recommended protein intake every day since I started tracking (on Sunday). Is this really harmful? I am always at or under on the fat and carbs . . .

i think the protein on here is set too low. you should fine as long as you stay within your fat and carb limits.0

You're active so your range can be around 0.4-0.6g of protein per pound.
When people talk about excessive protein, it's in the 1-2g of protein per pound range or more (though bodybuilders can utilize the low end of that spectrum).0 -
There have been studies where they tried to figure out how much protein is "too much" and people safely consumed 2.8 g per kg of weight. Most of the recommendations I've seen say not to go over 2 g per kg though. I guess they want a safety margin...
For someone who weighs 150 lb., that's 136 g of protein a day, btw. I suspect you are under that.0
