Anyone else have a pet that needs to be with you at all times? Like, to the point of obsession?

My beagle/jack russell mix Margo has an obsession with me. It started with her making little nests of my clothing while I was gone. Then she ate a couple pairs of underwear (ew). She started to get a bit destructive and very whiney when I'd leave, so I crate-trained her which she took to immediately (makes me think her previous owners used it, she loves her 'house'). Then when I'd come home she'd tinkle a tiny bit, but I trained her out of that by ignoring her when I come in the door and sending her out to potty. But when I'm home, she won't leave my side. If I'm sitting, she HAS to be in my lap. If I'm walking around she's following me, and if I stop (like making dinner) she stands up and 'reaches' for me with her paws. She even tries to hop in my lap when I'm eating. She's started a new habit of whining and pawing at me if I don't snuggle her. I love her to pieces and I know I don't help the situation by snuggling her all the time and letting her sleep in my bed. Her anxiety is really serious though! :noway: I'm planning to enroll her in obedience classes soon.
