New and saying "hi"....

I joined about a week ago but haven't really had a chance to sit down and introduce myself. I joined a Biggest Loser competition at work in October and, since then, have gone from 170 pounds to about 142...I am thrilled about this, but seem to have slowed down a little (okay...quite a bit, actually) and would really like to get down to at least 135 by spring. I've been carefully counting calories during the week, exercising more, and cutting back on beer and deep-fried things (my weaknesses). I feel like things have been going well, but am excited about the extra support. My husband has been out of the state on military duty since September and just returned home, and I am finding it was a lot easier to eat low-calorie foods and get my butt out of bed early enough for the gym while he was gone....he's an extremely healthy eater, but does weight lifting competitions and whatnot, so what he can get away with eating is NOT what I can get away with eating. Anyways, just wanted to say "hello" and best of luck to all of you! Excited to be here!

Hello and congrats on your amazing weight loss. I too am "stuck". 135 is my goal as well. I haven't been working out as hard as I was b/c I injured my MCL in Dec. so my weight loss has really slowed. Welcome and good luck with the competition!0

Welcome! I just joined here this week b/c of a weight loss challange through work. I normally do WW online but I find I'm liking this as well. I want to get down to 130-135 and i'm about 1/3 of my way there. Good luck with your WL!!0
