first of all i love the insanity workouts.
i did it for 2 weeks in november until i went home for break.
then i restarted it december 28th and did it for 1 month. and eventually stopped in recovery week. ( i lost no significant weight maybe a pound)
so i restarted 2 days ago and would love some advice.
heres my stats
male 195 21years old 5ft 8inch
i didnt follow a strict diet the previous times, and i am willing to this time so please help me out.
i did the calculations off insanity and it says i should eat 3200 to maintain. but mfp says 1300 to loose 2 pounds a week.
questions i have
how many calories should i eat?
protein intake? shakes? whey protein?
and just any other advice if u guys have it

I would go off of what mfp tells you for calorie intake....I tried the insanity calculation and could barely make it through eating for the entire day with the amount of calories insanity told me to take in (about 3300 calories). If you stick to the calorie amounts mfp tells you and don't cheat the system cause thats a problem i faced as well then you should begin to lose weight....I'm on my 3rd week of insanity and have lost 8 to 10 lbs0

1300 sounds too low to me for a male in his 20's but I'm no expert. You will burn a ton of calories during Insanity so hopefully if you do 1300 you are planning to eat your calories back.
Just my 2 cents.0
