I saw one in a store today, $40 but it looks like it has a feature that accesses a database and actually tells you the cals depending on what food you put on it. I thought that was kind of cool.
Anyone used one? I was just wondering if they are accurate or cheap gimmicks?

I have one, and I like it because it has multiple weight settings (lbs/oz, grams, fl oz, etc.). BUT - i find that the food database is weird. things I would think it would have are not found, like some fruits and veggies, so I don't use that feature really at all. I would have purchased a cheaper food scale but I found my Biggest Loser scale at a discount store for a good price.
btw - Firefly is my favorite!! I've watched the series + Serenity half a dozen times at least.0 -
Bought one (Biggest Loser) for my mom at Christmas time. Found it at Bed, Bath, and Beyond for $20!0
