Just Getting Started

Hi, everyone. I've just joined myfitnesspal at the suggestion of another member. We've got some groups at work who are involved in Scale Back Alabama (goal is to lose at least 10 lbs over 10 weeks). I've had problems losing weight for several years due to a variety of medical problems, not the least of which is sleep disorders, then I had a broken ankle last year (and severely damaged ligaments) and am just getting back to where I can almost walk without hobbling. So, I'm excited about finding this site -- it appears to be the easiest to navigate and most user friendly I've checked out so far! My hope is that the pounds will start to melt away -- well, at least to "inch" away! LOL!
