My daughter is having problems getting enough calories. She is considering meal replacement/ protein drinks. What are your thoughts? Any suggestions?

For the most part you should eat your calories instead of drinking them. Whole foods keeps you satiated. That being said, watch the sugar content on those products.
  • I agree with the above, but sometimes it is easier said than done.

I think make sure she has three proper meals a day and then in between she can take a meal replacement shake.
Just check the nutrition labels of said shakes and make sure she's uses properly balanced one - not overly high in carbs or proteins.
High protein is only good when combined with a weight training program.
