My daughter is having problems getting enough calories. She is considering meal replacement/ protein drinks. What are your thoughts? Any suggestions?

I agree with the above, but sometimes it is easier said than done.
I think make sure she has three proper meals a day and then in between she can take a meal replacement shake.
Just check the nutrition labels of said shakes and make sure she's uses properly balanced one - not overly high in carbs or proteins.
High protein is only good when combined with a weight training program.0
