Stretching the Hamstrings

For some reason my hamstrings have been tight since I started working out hard (since mid-January). I workout on average 5-6 days a week (4 strength/cardio, 2-3 cardio only) and stretch every single day. Before I started working out, I would never stretch and my hamstrings would feel fine.

However, now that they're tight, I seem to have slightly pulled my hamstring for the second time in a month (fighting with some drunk idiot I was trying to arrest). Now I did exert myself, but not to the point where I thought I would pull something. Now my lower hamstring on one leg, near the top of my calf, is bugging me. Any tips on stretching that part of the hamstring?
