It feels like it will never happen. I feel so discouraged. I don't know what else I can do. I eat healthier but I am always hungry. I walk a lot. I finally lost a poind but only after gaining a few. I'm stck at 165.5 now. Before I quit smoking my "flat-line" was 160. I couldn't break that no matter what I tried. Now it's up 5 pounds. What the heck. Any advice? I don't want to resort to diet pills. Maybe if I drink more water/ i don't klnow how that helps though. wont that out on more water weight? please help me..lol

I know it's frustrating!! You just have to keep pushing through & not looking at the scale or just pushing it to the back of your mind. It will take time! Just keep eating healthy & walking like you are & one day you're going to wake up & notice your clothes fit totally different. Really, I find that when I'm obsessing over the numbers & focussing too hard on getting thin is the time that my weight goes up and down because I'm stressed. When I'm leading a healthy lifestyle and feeling positive is the time I lose.

Just keep at it girly! You've quit smoking so you can totally do this!!:flowerforyou:

I have more weight to lose but the last few weeks I upped my cals cut my exercise from 90-160 minutes to 30-50 minutes and lost 1/2 pound in 3 days. Sometimes changing things around helps.:flowerforyou:

No. Water is a good thing. It helps keep your body hydrated & your organs/ digestion working efficiently. Drink plenty of real water.
Are you logging your food? Weigh, measure, log.
    For reals.
    Just do it.
Try increasing your exercise a little.
Don't get frustrated. Use that energy in a positive way to increase your health. Stress & anger won't be helpful at all.

Keep at it! And drink water! If you don't drink enough water your body actually holds on to water when you drink it. Not a good thing. Also, when it comes to always being hungry ... try 5 small meals a day, if possible. And sometimes you just have to push through your hunger or eat something with fewer calories such as veggies. It took me about 2 weeks to realize that when I ate what I used to it was too much but your body does need a little time to adjust. Also, if you made a drastic change (such as cutting from 2500 calories to 1200 calories) you might want to try going down gradually. Hope this helps.

Just keep going. I've been here 13 months and I'm still not done. This doesn't happen quickly. It just doesn't.

Pardon me if this seems like snooping, but I took a look at your other posts, and it looks like you have had some success, just maybe not really recently. I can tell you, for whatever reason, we tend to plateau, but it doesn't mean you're not going to stop losing weight. I'm at a plateau myself right now. Lost about 13 lbs in just over a month, then only one in about 2 weeks. I'm sure there's some fitness expert on this site that can tell you exactly why that happens. All I know is I've heard from many people already. So keep going with what you're doing; you'll push through it.

Keep in mind, it also gets toughest to lose the last 5-10 lbs. Don't know if you're at that point yet, but that's the case with everyone.

Good luck! Keep it up. :drinker:
