I know my sodium intake this weekend was out of control and now im suffering. I've heard lemon in your water can help. Also eating celery might help as well. I would try to eat as clean as possible and avoid sodium (of course!), sugar, and processed foods for the next few days. If it doesn't get better soon, you might check with your doctor to see why your body won't release the extra fluid. I bet it will be gone in the next few days!

Increasing your potassium can help with water retention as well. That and LOTS of water.

POTASSIUM mineral supplementation will help you eliminate the excess Sodium. Basic organic chemistry. No big deal! It's probably the sugars and carb.s in your diet, along with too much fiber that is causing any bloating.

Drink tea. Preferably green tea but any tea will act as a diuretic. I'd be really careful with potassium as too much will cause heart issues. As with any other supplement too much is bad.
