I have been hovering at the same weight now since Christmas and I just wanna scream!!! I did loose 0.4 lbs 2 weeks ago but that was it!! I have 3 more pounds to go before I can say "I am no longer in the 200's" but they won't seem to leave!! (I still have way more to go after that too) I am going to 'ramp up' my exercise a bit or at least shake things up a bit with other things besides just walking, but then the question is do I or do I not eat back my workout calories? This is something I struggle with ever time I work out extra, so maybe I will one time and the next not- anyways, I just needed to vent a moment, forgive me for being negative but sometimes SCREAMING does seem to help and makes my head a wee bit more clear!

Sounds like a classic plateau. There are tons of people who will have many different suggestions and these are my top five. (I didn't look at your diary so you may already be doing these things).

1.) try eating maintenance calories for two or three weeks and then returning to your weight loss calories.

2.) instead of strenuous exercise, do a lot of walking. an hour or so a day.

3.) water water water and green tea!!!!!

4.) less processed foods, more veggies and fruits. less corn syrup and more natural sugar!

5.) make sure you're relaxing enough and getting plenty of sleep.

These always seem to help me when I'm stuck. Good luck!

Thanks BMS- I have tried some of these, however, not all. So I may have to try one or more of them as well! I now walk about 30 mins a day with my dog, who keeps me walking at a fairly good pace, but tends to only be up for about 30 mins- she is 11. So what I may have to do is when I return home jump on the treadmill and do another 30 mins! Good idea! I will wait til it warms up a bit more outside before I walk more outdoors. Thanks for the tips!!! And congrats on your loss!
