Hummus recipe

Enjoy my hummus recipe

1 can chick peas (Garbanzo beans). Make sure to wash them thoroughly to get all that extra salty water out.
3 tbsp yogurt (or "tahini" if you have access to it)
3 cloves of garlic
salt
olive oil
lemon juice

Put them all in a blender. Add olive oil and lemon juice as needed. Enjoy it with some pita bread. Feel free to put some red chilli pepper powder on top of it as a garnish or even as an ingredient

    I thought about making my own, but didn't know about the tahini. I would imagine Greek yogurt would be a great choice!

    i use plain yogurt, never had greek yogurt

    no I donot. I might later on try to get a calorie count via the recipe thing on MFP but since the olive oil kinda depends on how dry the hummus becomes, it'll vary
  • I will look at the ingredients also. Very easy to make and I can figure out the cals. yummmmmm :happy:
