:sad: i started using MFP 10 days ago, and lso started doing Zumba fitness, hving a calorie controled diet and i dont seem to have lost weight at all bit demotivated but wont give up! anyone else faced this problem?????

Hi All,
I have lost about 13 lbs since January 1. Despite eating below my calorie intake yesterday, I gained 3 lbs! Very disappointing. Is it normal to have days like that? Is healthy weight loss more of a zig zag line downward as opposed to a straight line down?0 -
It sure is! This happened to me also. I lost, then a few weeks into it I seemed to gain half of what I lost. But within 3 weeks (eta: after that), I lost not only my initial loss but then some. I guess it takes a while for our bodies to adjust; try to take heart during those up & downs.0

I didn't see much change in the first weeks either....it takes time to see some results Just stick with it and success will follow!0

Have you lost any inches, though? Sometimes the inches come off when the pounds don't.0

Hello! I guess my advice would be: It took more than 10 days to pack on the pounds, so it will take at least 3 times that to take it off. Our bodies like to hold on to extra weight. Part of the survival mode. Give it some time, and remember the key is being consistent and DRINK WATER!0

i think i have lost inches........plus my hubby says that my face looks quite slimmer he he....i do feel a bit toned....i guess i expect resusts too quickly........thanks gals...yep im drinking a lot of water....i have even cut down my coffee consumption and gone to green tea ( tastes yukkky!!)0
