So I am taking a yoga/pilates class twice a week... it is WAAAY harder than I thought, I actually sweat in this class!!
Does anyone have a favorite yoga dvd so I can work on this at home too? I've tried 3 different dvds now, and I don't really like them... how to pick out a good one?
I'm looking for something with more streching... without the poses where I stand on my head!

Run a search for Hatha Yoga if you want to stretch without sweating too much. Rodney Yee has a Power Yoga video for Flexibility if you want to sweat and work on flexibility at the same time.

I also do Yoga (Yoga Zone or Rodney Yee) but for stretching I do Classical Stretch for High Performance Atheletes. It gives me a really intense stretch that helps improve my yoga poses.

I have a Denise Austin DVD that has two workouts. One is pilates and one more yoga. I really enjoy the pilates one. I feel like I've had a good workout plus when I'm doing it twice a week I feel more flexible. It has also helped in toning my abs. I do run/walk for cardio but still need toning.

It won't work you out as hard as others but if you have back trouble Viniyoga Yoga Therapy for the Low Back, Sacrum & Hips with Gary Kraftsow is AMAZING. I got it about a year ago and do it at least twice a week but I started with doing it daily and it really helped my back pain (car wreck a million years ago and sitting at a desk 16hrs a day lol)
