Is there a General Meal plan everyone should follow?

I mean is their like a plan that says you should eat this this or this in the am and this, this or this at lunch and supper? or protein at this time and carbs at this time?
I'm so confused and I dont want to pay for an easy plan to follow!!:( does anyone here have a general rule they follow? If so let em know I could REALLY use the support

    eat when you can, workout when you can.

    I eat 'breakfast foods' as an evening snack or any meal of the day and a dinner traditionally meal for breakfast... pick healthy wholesome foods cut back on the processed (boxed / bagged, pour and eat or heat and eat convenience type foods)
