Hi there. I've always been guilty of emotional eating too....it's a tough habit to break, but I'm trying!
Doing it for your daughter is a noble and worthy cause, but (and sorry for sounding like a cliche) the only way to succeed is to do it for yourself. Maybe just readjust the phrasing of your motivation to something like "I want to be the best me I can be and share that with the people I love".
Breaking addictive patterns can only work when the motivation is internal....if you're doing it "for" somebody else, what happens when they annoy or disappoint you (which, much as we love them, our kids can do quite regularly!)? Chances are you'll retaliate with another binge.
Surround yourself with supportive and understanding people (being on here is great for that) and remind yourself frequently of all the wonderful things you want out of YOUR life. All the best with it, feel free to add me if you like :)
