I would explore hypnotherapy if I were you. The life you are describing would make me sad. Veggies have amazing health benefits & are a great source of eating pleasure. Plus you have to constantly self identify as picky whenever veggies are served in social settings, which would cause me a great deal of anxiety.

Removing 2 complete food groups.... several of the most colorful ones at that. Sorry you guys are having a hard time, none of you were made to eat a bite or two at the dinner table when you kids? I find that sad too.... you're missing out on so much color which means health, flavor and variety. :'(

Some good tips given, sorry I don't have many suggestions, I'm a bit speechless, I had no clue how many ppl actually hated every single veggie and fruit there is. I know some ppl hate Kale but to hate every veggie/fruit in the world. I wonder how that's possible in a way, I have not explored them all so I don't know that I dislike or enjoy some of them myself.

So no mashed potatoes, no spaghetti sauce, pizza? Are you all serious about hating every single fruit and veggie, now I'm just going by the posts I'm reading...

I hope you take the opportunity to give something new a try ... your body will love you for it! :)

I find that stir-frying my various veg with my whatever meat softens the veg texture and shares the umami of the meat with the veg.

I used to be this way with a lot of foods. Just sit down, take nibbles of the thing you don't like a few times a week until you start actually liking it. I did this with olives, pickles, plain yogurt, and other pungent things. I will probably move onto beets next. Not everyone who enjoys vegetables has always enjoyed them. Take the time to train yourself and stop thinking of yourself as picky. That's treating yourself like a child, your an adult and you can take a little bit of discomfort to reap benifits. That's what life is about :)

Have you ever been assessed for Sensory Processing issues?

It may be worth considering seeking specialist advice along these lines if gradual exposure to different tastes and textures doesn't do the trick.

i dont have much advice because i have always loved veggies. As a kid i would fight for thr broccoli and artichokes green beans corn carrots. Grew into as an adult loving squashes, onions, asparagus.. pretty much everything except mushrooms. Just keep trying.
