beef cheeks - database accuracy?

my husband and i split a beef cheek last night. it was scrumptious. texture like butter, tastes like beef. yum.
there is only one entry for it in the database. it says a cup of beef cheeks is 320 calories (11g fat), 25g protein and 16g carbs. it also says it is 7% of the daily calcium requirement and only 76g sodium.
first, i am not sure why meat is measured in a 'cup' serving instead of in ounces and second, i have a hard time believing some of the other data inputted. does anyone have a reliable source outside of mfp for checking this info?
