Hi everyone, I'm new here and really want to start an exercise programme for myself. At the moment I would be comfortable with walking, speed walking, swimming and water aerobics and hope to get out of my comfort zone in a little while once I have gotten more used to exercise.
So how much should I be doing a day in order to lose weight but more importantly have an active healthy fit lifestyle
Thanks

At least 30 minutes of continuous movement each day. When I started I would walk for 30 minutes then I broke it up into 10 min dancing, 10 jogging, and 10 various exercises (plank, push up, jumping jacks, Russian twists).
Pinterest has a lot of fitness plans to look at for different types of people, might be worth it to look!
Hope this helps.0 -
