how often do you eat any kind of sweet?

I was wondering how often you all eat any kind of sweet. It could be anything from chocolate, baked goods, doughnuts, or even skinny cow ice cream/candy or a fiber one brownie. I usually have something like this every day, but of course I make sure it fits into my calorie allowance for the day. I'm trying to eat more clean and get rid of some of the sugar I'm consuming, but I just like sweets way too much!

Every day for me too. This is a lifestyle change and I cannot live w/o chocolate!!! =) Moderation is key for me lol
  • I work sweets (and sweet flavored) things into my mealplan, to avoid those horrible sweet cravings before they happen!
    Usually I have this a day=
+Cereal with sugar substitute (really is awesome for sugar cravings)
+Soda pop cupcake (65 cals when topped with FF whip cream. Search for em if you haven't heard of them - cupcakes made with cake mix and diet soda. I use sugar free pillsbury cake mix for lower cals.)

Sometimes, if I'm really craving sweets, I'll use:
+Oatmeal flavored with SF/FF pudding mix (butterscotch is my favorite - yum.)
+A piece of sugar free chocolate from Rocky Mountain Chocolate Factory. (Their assorted chocolates are about 73 cals each.)

If I truly want something bad I just stick to the portion, log the cals, and make sure I work out that day! If I work out and want some gummy bears...I'm gonna have some! haha I think the key is to keep track of the cals bc junk food can add up really fast!
  • I tried cutting out all sweets for a while. I lasted two weeks. I started going kinda crazy and I have always had a pretty bad sweet tooth. So I caved one night and ended up eating those 2 weeks worth of sweets..... whoops. So now I'm being more realistic about it and allowing myself one "cheat" per day (as I like to call it) so I don't go crazy after being deprived.

Me too. I just calculate as part of my calories. If I don't have some then I will be just craving them. So, I reward myself with small treats that I measure and ration.

Every night! I save enough calories to have a delicious desert every night. It helps me stay on track throughout the day and keeps me from having a binge.

Just about every day. Either a piece of chocolate or a serving of ice cream. And fruit if that counts (it's sweet and has sugar). I'll also sweeten tea or seltzer water w/ lemon or lime juice using stevia extract.
  • i eat a tonne of fruit every day.

Every day! There's no way I could cut out sweets completely...life's too short to not eat chocolate!
  • Every day! I allow myself one single indulgence a day. I like Hersheys kisses...one or two fills the void.

Almost daily, if's it's in my calorie allowance. It helps me keep in check. If I had to deprive myself of treats I don't think I'd be doing so well.
  • A couple times a week at the least. And I always fit it into my calories for the day, and I eat it a lot slower than I used to. A healthier version of any sort of sweet is just a google search away:)

I don't keep things like oreos or chocolate in my house because no matter how hard I try, I am powerless to stop when it comes to certain sweets.

I've taken to having a square of 72% dark chocolate every evening.
When I'm craving sugar, Chobani nonfat fruit-flavored Greek yogurt usually hits the spot. Or I'll have fresh fruit (strawberries and apples, usually) and vanilla almond milk. Or I'll make a smoothie with a banana, Greek yogurt, all-natural peanut butter, and unsweetened cocoa powder. All the deliciousness, none of the guilt!
  • Everyday for me to, but I'm alot better than I use to be. In the past I was a major junk food junky, now I usually have something sweet after dinner and sometimes a late night snack.

everyday unless I'm just not feeling it. The definition of "sweets" is kind of vague though since fruit is sweet and I eat it often.
