Hi guys! I am having trouble with a sweet tooth that popped up when I was pregnant with my son. A few months into the pregnancy I seriously craved gummy bears, brownies, and sugary cereals. My son will be four in May and I still haven't gotten it under control.

Any helpful suggestions to curb the craving???

More protein. Surprisingly enough, eating more protein actually curbs a sweet tooth. I have a horrendous sweet tooth, and I have to drop all sweets to lose weight! But having a high protein diet really has helped me stay away from the sweets (aside from some honey in my herbal tea). Amazingly enough, I've now been 2 weeks with very little in the way of sweets. Got my ice cream habit down to only 1 or 2 times in a week. No cookies, candies or other yummy treats. And I'm really trying hard to get rid of the ice cream too. I just don't crave it as often, unless it's that TOM, in which case I really cannot control anything to save my life! LOL.
  • Thanks! I will definitely have to try adding more protein! I never would have thought that would help!
