Quick Add Calories...

At the end of the day, or even at the end of a meal, I almost always add a couple hundreds using the quick add button. I just want to make sure i didn't underestimate anything. I measure things out, but when I cook I'm not sure if the items on the site are prepared exactly the same way as I cooked them, etc... I am able to tell whether they are fairly accurate, but I like to add a few extra just in case. Does anyone else do this?

    Good idea!
  • I dunno, seems like if your calorie goal was already low that could be bad
  • a couple hundred? that could lead to under eating

Yup. When I make my kid's lunch and stuff I'm always tasting so I usually add a few here and there. And also for the reasons you mentioned.

They are mainly exercise calories that I add back, so my intake is never below my original recommended amount.

There are things I know I do not add in during the day so I do leave at least 100 calories for those things. Creamer for my coffee is one thing I rarely put down on here. Sometimes I will also do a workout and not log it. However, I do not measure most things so my calorie count could be way off and exercise calories is just an estimate.

I don't do that but when Im putting something in I dont know the exact measurement of I always over estermate rather than under estimate. Or with my exercise if I did 60 minutes I put in 30 minutes :DJust to be sure.
