300 Calorie Pizza? Yes!
Made these tonight and wanted to share:
Personal Pizzas
1 box Jiffy Pizza Crust Mix
1/2 cup hot water
1 can Hunt's tomato sauce with basil, garlic & oregano
1/3 cup finely shredded Italian blend cheese (per pizza)
10 slices Hormel turkey pepperoni, cut in fourths (per pizza)
1/8 cup canned mushrooms (per pizza)
sliced onion (to taste, per pizza)
Follow box directions for making pizza crust. Before pressing into pan, weigh out five 2-ounce balls of dough (approximately - some will be a little less than 2 ounces). Press dough balls on cookie sheet into personal size pizza crusts. Prebake crust as directed, about 2-3 minutes. Top with a couple of tablespoons of tomato sauce, 1/3 cup cheese, pepperoni, mushrooms and onion. Bake for about 18 minutes.
One can of tomato sauce was enough for all five pizzas. When I entered everything in MFP, it came out as just over 300 calories per mini-pizza. Obviously, you could top these with just about any lean meat or veggie wihout altering the calorie count too much. They were delicious especially if you have a pizza craving! Hope you enjoy them as much as I did!
