What do you guys think about this story?

Anything over 250 calories goes?

Do you think it will help curb the 'obesity epidemic' ?

Not in any way shape or form... the big package is basically 2 small ones.... for anyone that wants them they can buy 2... and if they are "smart" on the buying they don't need to spend $1.49 and up per bar... there's lots of stores in town that have a regular bar for $0.69 vs the $1.49 that the gas bars / convenience stores charge.

A candy bar is still a highly processed food with tons of sugar.

America needs to stop over processing their food and adding sugar to everything and that will start to stop the obesity problem.

This is just another atempt to control people. There is also talk of taxing sugar specificially. Not only that but I know some skinny diabetics that need the sugar. So then what? Market it as a drug? And no I don't believe it will curb the obesity problem when it's not pinpointed to sugar. Some overweight people I know don't like sugar (candy, ice cream, etc.)

When you control finances you control people.
