So I just purchased an Iron Gym pull up bar. I have never been able to do pull ups and that's my new goal.....among others.

The thing is pretty easy to put together and it fits my door fine. Plus you can use it for push ups and sit ups along with the pull ups. I like it so far.

I'm going to start doing reverse pull ups first. We'll see how it goes!!!

I used to do those too. I totally admire those chicks that get up there without any help! I'm working on it. I'm working on it!!

I had a hard time with full push ups but now I can do those. I want ripped shoulders!!!

I love pull ups and chin ups! My max is 5 if I'm totally fresh and rested. I like to do negatives (Jump up, lower myself slowly) to work on my upper body strength and increase how many I can do. It's sort of hard for me because I have so much mass in my legs, but I'm still happy with my back. I love push ups as well. Nothing gets my HR up like pushup/pullup supersets!

I TOTALLY KNEW you'd be able to rip out a couple of those!!! I'm SOOOO jealous!! I'm starting with the reverse pull ups right now just to get started. Oh I can't wait to be just like you!!!

Well pullups I do fewer of, probably 3-4. Chin ups feel easier to me. You'll get there in no time! :drinker:

Yep, just keep at it!! Negatives are awesome! Chinups (hands facing in) are definitely easier, you use your biceps more. You will be doing them before long! :drinker:
