Logging marinades?

Hi Everybody-
Quick question: how do you record or log marinades? I make the most awesome pork chops, and everyone in my family loves them. I made them last night, and it occurred to me that logging the full amount of marinade used was ridiculous. Almost all of it is still in the ziploc baggie when we throw the pork chops on the grill. I improvised by creating a recipe for it, entering the ingredients, and doubling the servings. Four of us ate it, but more than half was left in the bag. So I recorded it has having 8 servings, and recorded myself as having eaten one.
I'm not normally this fussy about things, but when you are talking about 1/3 cup of olive oil you are talking about a TON of calories. I don't want to under calculate, but I don't want to over calculate, either. Any thoughts on how to approximate how much marinade is actually consumed?

Thanks!

BTW- if you are curious the pork chop marinade I use is: 1/3 cup olive oil, 1/3 cup soy sauce, 2 cloves of garlic minced, and some coarse ground pepper.

I usually add calories for about 1 Tablespoon of marinade. Calculate the calories for the marinade in MFP's recipe calculator (remember 16 Tablespoons = 1 cup) then if the whole marinade batch equals a cup, make the recipe as 16 servings, so one serving = 1 tablespoon. I always assumed 1 Tablespoon is a fair estimation for how much marinade soaks in and stays on the outside.

edited to add: that sounds really good, I'll have to try your marinade!

Measure the marinade before you put the pork chops in it. Measure how much is left after you take the pork chops out.
