Yes, it's all caps because I'm THAT excited about it. It wasn't a super long plateau, but for 3 weeks I was going up and down the same 3 pounds. I thought for anyone else going through this, I'd share what worked for me.
1. I took a really hard look at sodium and realized I was getting far too much. So I set a goal of 1500mg or less per day.
2. I am VERY active and realized I was basically burning off my food calories every day. So I upped my calories to 1900-2000 from 1200-1300. Yup, eating more DOES work.
3. I evaluated my carbohydrates. No, carbs are NOT bad for you but I wanted to see where I could maybe tighten things up and plan them around workouts. So, I have oatmeal before my elliptical session at the gym and basically eat a ton of veggies every day.
This morning, after being 223 point something for WEEKS, I can proudly say I was 222.6. Good riddance 223!

Well done,
I'm the same, I'm finally losing weight after months of nothing by eating more calories. 1700-1900 net I can't believe that months and months of 1200 cals and I'm losing more eating sometimes 2300 cals on workout days. Somedays I still don't believe it and want to freak out and eat 1200 cals again but I keep thinking how good food is.0 -
Eating does work. Congrats on your success!!0

Excellent realization, and I'm sure a mental fight to go that direction.
Eat more to lose more!
I guess you stared at the food diary for a bit wondering how you could possibly go lower yet, glad you went the right way - flying high!
Now this is a shameless bump. If you really want to nail the potential weight loss and let the metabolism fly.
