Laziest Thing EVER!

Upon leaving the gym yesterday and walking the football field length it takes me to get to my car, I see a woman parked in the middle of a row waiting for a close space to the gym. She is literally sitting there in park waiting. Now, there are 500 free parking spaces and, yes, she may have had to walk a bit but for God's sake, you are going to the freaking gym. I laughed a bit until I realized that she had caused a back up and now people were blocking my car in because she was waiting for that close space.
She did eventually get her close space and I was able to move my car, but I managed to stay dumbfounded about this for the next 30 minutes.
Any other witnesses of lazy gym behavior????

maybe she was handicapped?.. has a medical reason for NEEDing a close space...:flowerforyou:0

Nope, she was perfectly able. No handicapped sticker on her car. She walked just fine into the gym. Yes, I watched just in case I was being unfair.0

I find the gym vultures really ironic. They vulture for the closest parking spot, then go into the gym and walk on the treadmill for an hour. What is up with that? It's so crazy.0

I guy pulled up in the handicapped space, finished his cigarette, came and ran his keyfob. Didn't come in, but instead got back in his truck and drove off.0

Okay, so what was the point in doing all that?0 -

Maybe he needed an alibi?0 -
That is a little bizarre. I usually park far away just so I don't have to deal with all the other cars.0

Probably looking for the "gym" kickback from his health insurance...
I had to chuckle though, I would never have the b*lls to do that...0 -
I happily park as far away as possible...
the only time I wait for a close parking spot is when it is -40... because my HAIR freezes!0 -
It's funny reading about your gyms with the huge parking lots... I live in such a small town, we only have about 10 spaces in our parking lot and I am often one of 2-3 people in the gym, if not the only one!0

Some guy who drives a Lotus to our gym parks across two spaces, as close to the door as possible.0

Not quite the same thing, but I saw a group of ladies come in, do about 45 minutes of easy cardio and leave. About twenty minutes later when I left, the same group of ladies was sitting in their car in the parking lot eating burgers and fries from McDonald's. Hmmm...0

Or he uses the iphone app Gympact. You get paid if you go to the gym a certain number of times a week, but you have to pay if you don't. Pretty sure it uses GPS to verify you were there.0 -

I'm also amused by the people who will sit and wait to get a spot 20 feet closer to the door. I guess they are saving all the calories for their workout.0 -
Saw a girl in her early 20's take the elevator to the second floor. I literally walked up the stairs faster than she got there in the elevator. Then she stopped for a drink of water and sat down for 5 min before gettting a the treadmill at like 2mph. She didnt appear to have anything wrong with her other than being lazy! lol She didnt even break a sweat before she was off the treadmill, back down the elevator and out the door. Not sure why she bothered to even come to the gym.
I have also seen people pull out of the gym in front of me and go the two blocks to Taco Bell or McDonalds and pull in. Hmmmm....lol0 -
I have to admit to the Taco Bell thing though. lol Tuesday I busted my tail at the gym and really really wanted a beef soft taco. So, I went straight from the gym to Taco Bell. I only had one though.0
