So is it a myth that you can't "spot reduce" when doing any exercise?
As far as I know, it is a myth. Even in my own experience, in order for me to lose fat from my abdominal area I need to lose the fat all over my body, making my face look extremely thin until finally the fat on the lower abs and love handles goes away. The messed up part is that to gain fat doesn't work the same way, since stress had, during the evolution of men and monkeys, a major influence to "program" the body to store fat in the abdominal area more than anywhere else.0 -
