According to Dr. Oz if you have trouble losing fat in certain areas you can greatly increase your success rate in reducing fat in these areas by simply replacing 1 meal a day 5 days a week with one of the following (depending on your body type) These are 2 examples (the meals actually sound pretty tasty) the full article and all recipes and supplement suggestions can be found at this link

BTW: I’ve ordered a bottle of Raspberry Keytone supplements. You’ll see why after reading this article.

Having Trouble Getting Rid of stubborn belly fat:
Egg and Cheese Muffin

This belly-blasting breakfast is loaded with monounsaturated fatty acids that reduce inflammation in the body and help decrease fat storage around your stomach. Also, tomato is a natural diuretic, so it’ll help relieve any extra bloating you might have.

Ingredients
Makes 1 serving

1 toasted whole grain English muffin
2 tsp olive oil
1/4 ripe avocado
1 slice tomato
1 egg, poached
1 slice Swiss cheese
Freshly ground pepper to taste

Directions
Drizzle the English muffin with a little olive oil, then spread 1/4 ripe avocado on it. Top it off with the slice of tomato, Swiss cheese, poached egg and the pepper to taste. Enjoy!

Having trouble reducing the size of chest, arms, and upper back?
Tex Mex Salad

This salad is loaded with healthy fats and proteins that can help you lose weight. And the decadent sour cream topping is a nice source for diary. Substituting dairy for other heavier foods in your diet can help you lose weight in your upper body – but don’t overdo it. Make sure to keep a reasonable daily calorie amount.

I'd eat more avocado if it was easier to have ripe ones on hand. Hard to meal plan not knowing when it'll be ripe.

Sound like a bunch of bunk to me... why would different foods burn fat from different areas of the body? If I ate nothing but that egg and cheese muffin, would I only lose fat from my stomach? I can understand that certain meals may help fight inflammation or bloat, but not actual fat. I thought "spot reducing" was debunked a long time ago...

Too bad none of the research on the supps he recommended say anything about spot reduction, nor have many been shown to be effective in humans at all

So much THIS. If it walks like a duck and talks out it's *kitten* like a duck... it's a QUACK.

There's no such thing as spot reduction. If there was do you think I'd stand for these thighs?

I hear carbs go to your belly and fat goes to your butt. Dr. Oz said so, it's certainly the truth.

So the unwritten assumption here is that replacing a crappy, processed, fat/grease/carb laden protein-less meal with a healthier, well rounded/balanced meal can help you lose weight?

Sorry to sound rude, but that's a total load of crap.

Everybody's body loses fat differently and there is absolutely no way to "spot train" to lose fat in certain places. Sad, but true.

I just KNEW there was a reason I still have a wobbly stomach, clearly my excess body fat is inflamed, if only I'd known this before...!

Well regardless of the validity of how much someone might think my post may or may not help someone’s weight loss journey rest assured I’m not a troll, or a bot, and I’m not selling anything. I’m a real person who has lost nearly 100 lbs through diet and exercise alone. I honestly appreciate all constructive advice (especially from those who can demonstrate how one tactic or another can be effective or ineffective) – even the jokes were funny . I think my original post (while I was just trying to be helpful) might have come off like I was advertising for some product I sell – nope – I just know how hard it is to lose weight and was passing along something I had read.

    Take care
  • I am a huge fan of Dr. Oz & his guests that share what they know. This episode would have better impact for people to view his episode over reading a recipe. However just from looking at the recipe the ingredients in the egg muffin are the importance of this belly buster it's very simple if you compare it to a stack of pancakes with butter & a side of bacon. (i know that's a very obvious way to say it) as for me I would omit the muffin-but that surely changes the molecular science of this meal-but still I rather have whole grain bread

Avocados are amazing as is Olive Oil which also promotes colon health and tomatoes are a super fruit too which are great for your skin. There is very much truth inside the molecular nutrition and all the science of our combinations of foods and their nutritional biochemistry. The food chemists are opening so many new doorways to understanding correlations & functionality of foods at the molecular levels between nutrition & prospective health. As for the inflammation of the gut I think that has been misconstrued since visceral fat causes inflammation & stress factors on the organs & even though this belly fat is hard to get rid of it can be done with combinations of foods & commitment with being active. I would not be wise to discredit the science of food & it's chemistry or the research. Obviously we all know what foods make us fat & how they make us fatter.
