    it's a semi-automatic type writer, I learned to type on one of those and actually have a old school fully meachanic non-automatic type writer at home. the sound is awesome and typing on it feels so cool, too :)

    I have one like it in the attic; I also have a manual version in the same box. I went to undergrad with an portable electric just like that.

    Don't feel bad. I'm 22 and I used typewriters until the age of 12. One of them wasn't even electric!
