Hi

Just wondering if anyone own/read the Bib Greene book
I only received it today but from what I understand the minimum calories a woman should consume is 1500 (this website calculated I should be eating only 1290...which I find hard to stick to)
I only got the book today, so only had a chance to glance through it but was hoping the book would offer specific brands of food...I see in shoprite the the best life seal on foods, but don't always have the time to sift through products to find the best option
Is there a section in the book that lists specific item you can buy at the store?

Thanks, kim

yes but you also have to exercise... and he wants you to exercise as much as you can so you have that 500 calorie deficit. Also remember that he is going to want you to cut everything out like alcohol, caffeine, and whatever else.

I read his book a while ago and its great for some people (like Oprah) and its not soo good for some (me). After reading his book I actually ran to Weight Watchers.

I have not read the book but I know if I eat less than 1500 calories a day I feel extremely weak and light headed. My calorie max here is 1390 a day and then I exercise a lot. Today for example I was at the gym for 2.5 hours and then this afternoon came home and went on an hour long bike ride. Then tonight I spent about 45 minutes doing crunches and what not. I ate close to 1800 calories today. Tomorrow I work so I won't have that kind of time to exercise so I will try a little harder to not go over 1500. Eating 1500 calories a day and I am losing weight.

I think that everyone's body is different and only you can really find that perfect number/diet. I have just been experimenting to find the right fit for me.

Remember just b/c Bob said it doesn't mean it will or won't work for you! Like the old saying goes, "Don't put all your eggs in one basket". Read some different opinions and give those ideas a try and see how your body responds and when you find the response you are hoping for then run with it!!

I would like to read Bob's book.
