Is it just as bad to go over your fat count with good fat (nuts, avocado, etc.) as it is to go over with bad fats?

What are you calling a bad fat?
Animal fats (beef tallow, butter, etc), coconut oil, palm oil are all saturated fats. Saturated fats are not bad for you, nor are they the enemy.
The only bad fats I know of is artificially made trans fats and vegetable oils, which are highly concentrated PUFA's and they disrupt the Omega 3 to Omega 6 ratio, which leads to inflammation.
If you are eating nuts, avocado, olive oil, other nut / seed oils, coconut oil, and yes even butter................it is not detrimental to your health unless you are eating a lot of highly processed carbs in the form of flour, sugar, etc...........
The more natural the better.
You can eat higher fat, lower carb and moderate protein.................or low fat, moderate protein, high carb - but you can't eat both high fat and high carb.0 -
I won't worrie to much as long as your cals are right. If you had nuts that day you prob will be over with fat, but thats ok.0
