I just got my first batch today. GNC only had the unflavored kind. So I was wondering, what do you normally drink it with?I tried soy milk and fruit and it was just wrong, hehe.
Help! I need to be able to drink this stuff willingly, lol.

you can mix it into smoothies... thats pretty good.0

I could only ever handle it blended with OJ and strawberries. I find that improves it quite a bit! Also, you can mix some lecithin (sp?) in to keep it smooth.
My family is big on the Genestra brand "Pro Lite". Love it.
Good luck!

It's true - I am guessing that you are using Rice because you are allergic to milk protein, have lactose trouble, or you are vegan? We do the Rice due to allergies, but Whey protein powders are delish!

Do they make an unflavored Whey protein powder?0

Do they make an unflavored Whey protein powder?
I have never seen it in my life. But if you are doing a sweet application, the vanilla is pretty versatile, or even the choclate or strawberry basic. I personally think basic flavours are bettter than the "Dreamy Chocolate Raspberry" and all those crazy engineered flavours....

Whey powder makes me sick but yeah they have unflavored .. I've seen it at GNC.0

Oh dear gods. I got rice protein recently. YUCK. Um...it tastes ok in oatmeal if you put in a banana and cinnamon. In a shake with soy milk and STEVIA. And vanilla extract.
With the exception of Spiru-tein, I'm sticking to whey. You can make microwave brownies with just chocolate whey and milk/water.0 -

Well I got some apple cider so I'll let you know how that goes since I know you got a pound also, lol.
I also got some hemp protein but I had to order it online. Gosh, why can't they all just come in chocolate? Hehe.0 -

I was just wondering because I've seen recipes with Whey protein powder added.... I couldn't imagine adding vanilla/chocolate to the particular savory dishes. I always am lacking in the protein area though, so.... gotta find ways to sneak it in.0 -
Protein brownies ROCK. And earn you the most delightful expressions of shock when you tell dormmates that you have "special brownies."
Oh! Protein pancakes work too. And check out this place for some more great recipes--including pumpkin pie!

I'd replace the splenda with something more natural, but it looks like great recipe besides that.0 -

Could you describe the recipe for protein brownies? Are they really chewy though? That is what I would imagine. What else is in them?
To the original poster.... please do try a heaping T of rice protien with fresh OJ and frozen strawberries in the blender - that is a pretty tasty way to do it!

Ok, I figured out how to drink this stuff. I used 1/2 cup apple cider, 1/2 cup soy milk, 1/2 cup frozen strawberries, and a few drops of vanilla extract.
Thanks for the tips! I can definitely drink this every day. I'll try OJ next week once I get a chance to get some.0
