I recently chatted to a friend who has just realised that she has gained a lot of weight. She told me she has made a conscious decision to lose weight. I thought i had made a conscious decision to lose weight. I mean I a healthy lunchbox, my body is already used to having 100g low fat yogurt for breakfast, i joined MFP and I log in 70% of the food i eat.......

Me and my friend started texting each other our meals for the day and i realised that she really has made a conscious decision to lose weight. She hasnt lost momentum whereas i dont even text her my menu for my evening meal because i always go above my daily calorie limit. She bought shoes and is starting gym. while my gym equipment is gathering dust.

She just made me realise that, even though i am losing, only because my 2 meals and snack are super low in calories and i play with my daughter every night, I havent made a conscious decision to lose weight. And until i make a conscious decision to lose weight i wont even reach my goal of losing 20lbs anytime soon.

I will continue reading success stories, checking out peoples pictures, people will lose around me but i will remain stagnant or lose 2lbs a month.
