Hi Guys,

2 of my big body goals are having a flat stomach and the thigh gap. I have quiet wide hips, and at the moment chunky thighs. I was wondering what the best exercise was to build the muscles in this area?

Walking seems to thin my legs. These are very long walks everyday and you'll see results.
  • Cardio to burn the fat off in combination with variations of squats to hit muscles from all angles.....for inner thighs best squats are sumo squats but i'm no expert....

It's a really hard area to exercise.
If you lay on your side cross the top leg over so it's foot is on the floor in front of your knee, then raise and lower the bottom extended leg it works the inside of that thigh.
    I just re-read that lol I hope you're not a pretzel!

Heavy squats, lunges and leg presses for muscle. Diet to kill off fat.
  • good diet and sideways plank is supposed to be good for that x

Lots of crunches will make your abs get bigger

While you need muscle down there (which other people have already covered beautifully), you don't want to bulk that area up too much. After your muscle-building exercises, I recommend stretching that area out thoroughly. My best thigh gap was when I was doing yoga regularly.

(And of course diet and cardio to get rid of the fat...)

By the sounds of it you want a very lean body so I'd say that to help your body be like you're desiring it to be it's best to do a lot of cardio, low endurence and flexibility training. Like walking, jogging, long distance running, yoga, pilates and maybe areobics aswell so you don't put on too much muscle mass but stay lean and healthy.
