Hello... just curious as to what you eat when you go on a binge?

what do you eat and amounts?

On my last binge which was sucessfully over 4 weeks ago... is mainly bread and crisps...and chocolate..

but i haven;t felt the need to do so for a while now which must be progress!!!

Have a great day!!

I am a binge eater and have struggled for years with it!! When I binge it is on carb foods like bread, crackers, sweets and candy. I have been known to binge on foods that are good for you too, so I have to keep the binging in check. I'll give you an example....I made a white chili that is very healthy but also VERY GOOD. I had a cup and wanted another, now if I had had another cup I could have set off my binge trigger and ate till I was stuffed. Last night I wanted just a little something and decided that I would see about some almond butter. I logged in and saw I only had a hundred or so calories left well, almond butter is very high in calories and if I had eaten some and went over I would have triggered the binge again......I DID NOT EAT!!!! That is a HUGE accomplishment for me. My suggestion to you if you care to know is to find out what triggers the binge and then try to fight off the triggers. I have been at this battle my entire life and I am almost 50. I want the cycle to end and I'm hoping this time it will. Best of luck to you and your journey!!! KIM

Thanks Kim, yes i agree with regards to the triggers, mine normally is T.O.M but since changing my lifestyle i haven;t had the urge as of yet, maybe the odd chocolate bar but its always accounted for.

    Good luck to you too!.xx
