hi guys,

i'm new to myfitnesspal and just completed my first entry. i find that my biggest struggle are sweets at night. i crave them after dinner and once i eat one, i eat a million. that said, i know i shouldn't eat them but any suggestions to good healthy dessert options?

    mandarin oranges and FF cool whip,Jello,..actually your cravings for sweets will subside once you progress and get used to lifestyle change..in the beginning I ate so much jello I was turning blue hehe raspberry....now i hardly eat any

    Now, I know someone will probably yell at me for suggesting this, but I have the same sweet tooth at night, especially after quitting smoking... I have a glass of chocolate milk. :embarassed: shhhh, don't tell LOL!! It's not every night but definitely after long stressful days.

    Sometimes, just eating a banana helps me too. So maybe a favorite fruit?

    On days I have people over and serve dessert, I'll grab one of those 100 calorie ice cream bars or ice cream sandwiches and even serve them to my friends who will never know they are "light"! haha :laugh:

    Anyhow, good luck to you.. I'm sure you'll love this site :smile:

    sugar free cool whip with some natural peanut butter mix it together..

    Also if sweets are your weakness try banning them for a little bit until you can gain control and moderation over them.

    Once you realize what it takes to burn off those calories you will not want them anymore
