This is getting out of control. I'd start questioning pregnancy if I didn't know better. Heres to drinking water :)

My bladder wakes me up at LEAST 2x a night :P

Well, at least you are waking up.

2X per night might be excessive, unless you are hitting the juice or water bottle late at night. If you are concerned about it check with your M.D. For guys, it is paramount to be concerned about the trips as it could be a precursor to Prostrate or Bladder Cancer.

None, I go before bed. I have to go immediately when I do wake up though of course.

Usually 0 or 1. However, after tossing back a couple beers late in the evening, it's usually a couple times.

If I drink anything after, say 8:00 or 9:00, I get up once - if I toss back a few beers, I'm up a few times.

For myself, hardly ever, and I am a huge water drinker, but my husband is up about 6 or 7 times during the time. Drives me crazy. Oh well, glad it's him and not me. LOL
  • Sometimes once, sometimes never.

    Never more than once.

If I drink a lot of tea or water in the late evening I will get up, usually around 4a. The only problem is that once I am up I often cannot go back to sleep, and end up doing book work.

    Never.

That's not quite true. I work out at night, so if I drink too much, I do wake up. maybe 1x a week?

Rarely, if ever. Try not to drink as much just prior to going to bed to avoid having to go as much during the night. I drink a minimum of 12, 8oz glasses a day but don't have to get up in the night to go very often.

If you're peeing often and this is new for you, I would think more about urinary tract infections (especially for females) or diabetes (in both females and males). Both can be easily screened for by your doctor. In older men, a large prostate may prevent you from completely emptying your bladder and thus with less reserve, you've got to empty more often. There are medications that can help. If you're seeing blood, you should call your doctor.

It could, of course, also be a simple annoying habit or that you've consumed a lot of fluids in the latter part of your day. Some medications may play a role, or you may be eating/drinking fluids that have a diuretic action. Tea, for example, will make you pee.

sometimes none, usually one, rarely two.
  • I go potty before bed and it holds me over 'til first thing in the morning. Now, if I'm drinking alcohol, that's a different story. In that case I wake up 1-3x during the night.

Usually once when I drank too much water the night before, but almost always I gotta go first thing I get up

It never actually is the cause of me waking up, but sometimes around 6am I'll get half woken up (Noises outside / bf getting up for work) but I can't get back to sleep until I go. I always have to go the minute I wake up, but if I sleep through solidly it's not a problem.

    haha!

it depends on how much water i consumed before bed. sometimes i'll have a couple mugs of herbal tea before bed, and that means that i'll be up a few times in the night! if i'm a little dehydrated at bedtime though, then i sleep soundly :)

One night I counted 17. Usually at least 3.

I have horrible insomnia and I think the two are related. I think I need to pee so I won't wake up again, but really there's nothing there but the feeling I *might*.

Yeah, I'm calling the doc right now.

Always once......very rare if it's not. Sometimes 2x's......mostly just the one though. I hate it!

When I first upped my water, I couldn't sleep through the night without getting up at least once. I haven't had to get up to pee in a while, though.

If I drink 2-3 cups of water just before I go to bed then yeah, twice is probably how often I need to get up during the night. I have problems with nightmares anyway so I wake up a few times each night anyway so it doesn't really bother me.
  • Adleast 2 times!

Usually none, but perhaps once or twice if I drink too much water shortly before going to bed.
