I know I've read this before, but do you count iced tea as your water intake? And I mean freshly brewed, not store-bought (but I *did* add Splenda).

    i do if it's herbal! if it's caffeinated, i don't!
  • there is water in almost everything we eat or drink. think about the water content in soup. i count my coffee, my tea (herbal, but i'd count iced tea as well if i drank it). but i drink 2-3 cups of coffee in the morning and i count 1 cup of water. if i drink a diet soda, count a cup of water. other than that, try to drink a glass or 2 of water with each meal, one when you first wake up and one when you go to bed and, you've pretty much covered your water for the day. : )

yes you can but remember caffeine is a diuretic so any drink with caffeine in should be matched with a glass of water ideally

Tea has MUCH less caffeine than coffee, I wouldn't worry about it too much. You don't have to "match" one for one, but I would make sure you drink some water too.
