    Cheat days are purely psychological.

Fasting days have good health benefits, particularly when it comes to resetting hormones that deal with appetite and fat burning.

I've done some form of fasting before, as well as cheat days. I lost weight on both, and didn't gain any of it back. The fasting wasn't fun though, so I won't be doing that again. :P

    Fasting sucks

My brother was a wrestler while he was in high school and everyone on his team had one "cheat" day followed by a "fasting" day. They were told this boosted their metabolism, whether it is true I have no idea. I would do further research, such as a website ending in .org or .net! :)

I do a cheat day followed by low carb day. My body responds well to it.
