Just wondering if anyone out there has had this surgery?

If so, what kind of exercises are you doing besides walking?

Looking for inspiration, would love to hear success stories - maybe hear that I will once again be able to do more :) ~ (only 7 months in) and if you are using DVD's (any suggestions would be helpful).

My husband had his lower back fused but it was minimal fusion, just two.
With that said, he's a soldier and doing just as much if not more now than he did before surgery. Just this morning he did a ruck march(65-pound pack) 5.5 miles in just over an hour.
BUT, IMO this is what got him to having back surgery in the first place. He swears he feels great and even is back to playing basketball and everything. So yes it is possible, my advice is to listen to your body. Start with what you can do than improve upon that.

Thanks! I had a 2 level fusion. I think the difference with mine is the fact that I've had back issues since I was in 6th grade and this is my 3rd surgery. I will continue to listen to my body and take it slow, I will get back there one day! :)

So awesome he is doing so well! That is awesome!
