menopause, stress and weigh loss?

Hi all!
I'm 48 years old and THINK I'm starting the menopause journey? I'm having only a few minor symptoms, one of them being weight gain! Boo!
About 5 years ago I started a life plan to get healthy. I lost 60 pounds and, more importantly, got my lipids panel numbers under control! I started running, got addicted to it and have since completed 2 marathon's and 9 half's! Running is my medicine!
Now things are changing. I've gained about 10 pounds even though I'm eating about the same and running an average of 23 miles a week. I don't like it, feel out of control and my cloths are not fitting well.
I also need to mention that my life has some serious out of control stress...
my daughter has a serious mental illness.
My husband is disabled and in chronic pain.
My father in law just died after a long painful battle with cancer.
I have a painful intestinal disease and am estranged from most of my family, due to my daughter's illness....

So I'm pretty sure stress is throwing a wrench in my weight loss plan too!

Any advice or comments are appreciated!

Have a great day,
Ruthe
