Ok, I know this is primarily a weight loss site, but... After I lost all my weight (32lb), I felt pretty skinny and weedy. I'm finishing up my first proper committed bulk in a few weeks and I'm loving the mass I've managed to pack on in a few months. Now I'm thinking I'd love to be huge muscle wise! Seriously, I want to get up near my genetic potential (or as big as I can get WITHOUT roids!). Probably take me about 5-7 years to get up there at that kind of level mind you...

Anyone else building muscle? How much do you want to grow? If you could get as big as Jay Cutler or Phil Heath or Ronnie Coleman.... Would you? Or do you want to stop at a certain size?

Jay

I enjoy bulking phases mainly because it's eating more (still healthy) and moving heavy *kitten* weight but shredding down after a long winter is where its at to really make all those hard gains pay off, I aim for a athletic build over shear size since i run and compete in other sports so i have to stay mobile. Periodization has worked excellent for me for the past year and half or so

Not massive but bigger than the average guy. Everytime I start getting there I get injured and lose what I've worked hard for:ohwell:

I'm rocking a periodization program at the minute. 4 weeks linear, 4 non-linear and 4 undulating. Good results so far!

Now I'm not saying I wanna be as big as Jay Cutler... I know there's a limit to natural bodybuilding.. But yeah, I pretty much wanna be considerably bigger than 90% of guys on the street...

  • Well you are one of the most determined guys i know. So if you wanna be as big as a brick out house i'm sure you'll get there. Can't wait to see you hench ;)
  • I've only lost 15lbs, but I can definitely see what you're saying. Once some of that extra bulk disappears and there's not a whole lot underneath, sure makes me feel twiggy.

I love being a "massive" petite chick. You can't really see it on a girl unless you see her pushing/pulling weight. Then you know she's massive.
