If you're in a similar boat like me, only looking to down 30lbs or less, you might understand. It can be discouraging because weight loss comes so much more slowly or at a much harder effort the closer you are to your goal. But I'm remaining optimistic and looking to be-friend anyone out there who is too. I'm getting better at monitoring my food and drink consumption, knowing my limits even if I don't always stick with them :ohwell:. Exercise waxes and wanes like the moon. I'll be into it for a few weeks or even months, then slip back out. I guess I could use support in that arena. I just got Zumba for Wii last week, tried it once, felt like an idiot, but enjoyed it! I just need to make the time for it. Also ordered the Butt Bible recently which I have previously tried and that was one serious workout. I have high hopes for the effects from that. Any like minds out there?

Weight loss when you are relatively close to your goal can be the ultimate test in patience! I have definitely discovered that. Your body wants to hang onto that fat, and will only s-l-o-w-l-y let it go. But it's worth the work! I tend to drop pounds in increments. I'll stay the same weight forever, and then bam, one week I'll lose 3 pounds! The hardest part is staying consistent even when you feel like nothing is working. You can do it!!!0
