Is chromium safe to take? I have heard that Chromium is really good to take as it helps speed up the metabolization of carbs... and that it helps speed up the weightloss. Just wondering if anyone has more information on this.

Chromium piccolinate is fine to take. It is even better for diabetics. I can't remember the specific reason. Body builders use it too. My boyfriend uses it to help with his diabetes. Something to do with making him more sensitive to the insulin, maybe? I'll try to remember to come back and let you know!0

Chromium supplements are sold as weight lost products, specially because they decrease sugar cravings, since it is thought to stabilize blood sugar levels. There have been studies trying to link chromium intake and weight loss but I think there aren't any definitive conclusions (at least the last time I checked)0

Okay, the BF says that the chromium helps turn excess calories into muscle instead of fat, so it helps beef up muscle development.0
