Ok....I'm really not but i feel like it....I have a co-op at my college part-time at their student massage clinic and all new clients have to fill our paperwork and there was this mother and daughter together and the daughter was my age (23) and I noticed that her mom was filling her paperwork out and they were just both taking forever.....
So I made a comment how at 23 I can fill out my own paperwork.....
and it turns out she has a learning disability....
I feel like a horrible person, but I had no idea because all I saw was her head down txting on her phone....
how bad a person am I?

Oh crap! Well, in all honesty how were you supposed to know? I know we are not supposed to judge, but visually she looked like an inconsiderate kid who still relies on her parents for everything.

Eh, what can you do? I once snottily called someone out for parking in a handicapped spot. She pointed out that she had a tag and her disabled son was currently in the car with her. Not only am I a b!tch, but I'm also blind.

LOL, just reminded me of a time in college. My friends and I were stalking a parking spot near our dorm. We were waiting forever and the guy finally backed out and it was then that I realized it was a handicapped spot. With my windows down, and his too I (without thinking at all) shouted, "Oh crap! He's HANDICAPPED!"

Did you apologize? Yeah it was kind of...okay really rude to say in the first place, ESPECIALLY to a client. I don't really understand why you would say something like that unless you knew the person or were obviously joking. But, if you apologized and feel bad about it, learn from it and move on. And try not to make any rude remarks to clients in the future O.o lol

That's awkward. You better have apologized. Haha.

I actually did this earlier this week to a lesser extent. It was really busy in the school library and I was trying to get some coffee and I COMPLETELY missed the poor guy in the wheel chair trying to get in the coffee shop. I didn't help him at all and I feel so HORRIBLE when I realized it. He was completely fine and cool with it when I told him I didn't see him but omg!! I was like, "SORRY SORRY SORRY!" lol...

If I were Jesus, I doubt the Hell would be with me. That didn't make much sense....

Live and learn. It isn't easy but I try to assume there are reasons I don't know, sometimes. Like when people drive slow, I get so annoyed, but you don't know why they do that.

One time I was using.a handicapped bathroom stall and a guy in a wheel.chair was waiting on me to finish while the other stalls were available. I felt a lil bad. But whatever.
