To weigh or not to weigh

I've lost 10 lbs since January according to my scale. I can tell I have lost weight by how my clothes fit; which is AWESOME. But my scale at home says one thing and the scale at the gym says another. I am getting frustrated and I want to give up on scales altogether and just let my clothes do the talking. I truly would like to know how much I weigh tho. Has anyone else ditched their scale? What is the best way to keep track without the trickery of the infamous scale?

I have always heard to stick to the same scale at the same time of day.0

I put one of my hand weights on my scale to see if it's adjusted to the right weight and then only use my scale and at the same time of day once a week0

I weighed one time in Dec. of 2011 and I haven't weighed again at all....I hate scales. If I think I've lost 5 lbs and I get on the scale and I haven't lost anything or maybe just 1 I get frusterated....I know this isn't the way most people do things, but to me I go by my clothes.0

I honestly don't weigh myself that much anymore. I found that I became slightly obsessive about it, and I didn't like that feeling. Now I really try to concentrate on my body fat measurement as a guide for how I am doing, I try to have that checked every six weeks or so. If I feel like the way my clothes are fitting is changing (and sometimes not for the better!) I hop on the scale just to get a feel for what is going on weight wise.0

Stick to one scale and weigh yourself in the morning. ;-)0

I would stick to your own scale...so many people use the one at the gym and it's probably not calibrated right either0
